President’s Club is an exclusive annual two day event which celebrates outstanding talent within the Diageo Europe sales team. Exceptional employees become members of the coveted President’s Club.
Ellipsis created the original identity in 2010 and have adapted the pattern design every year since then to reflect the country chosen to host the event.
The ornate design was used across all of the materials, from Oyster cards and city guides, to personalised luggage tags.
When the event was held in London the foyer of Diageo’s HQ was branded with a dramatic nine metre banner spanning three floors and ‘Hollywood walk of fame’ style floor stars featuring the nominees names.
The winners were greeted on arrival by a fanfare played by trumpeters in traditional livery. This unique and uplifting welcome set the mood for the event and attracted the attention other employees in the building.
Each year the winners are invited to the cocktail reception, gala dinner and awards presentation at a prestigious venue in the host city.
In previous years the event has been held in Rome, London, Barcelona, Madrid and the most recent event in Dublin’s Luttrellstown Castle, for which Ellipsis produced the ceremony.
The evening events include a cocktail reception and gala dinner. Ellipsis design and print cocktail dinner menus and name place cards.
The annual awards ceremony takes place after the gala dinner, when the overall winner is announced.
They are presented with a circular trophy, to be kept for the year, with their engraved name displayed alongside previous winners.
They are also given a bespoke star award to keep, designed by Ellipsis.
