Ellipsis were approached to be the overall event producers for an exciting conference in Athens. Responsibilities included designing the event indentity, registration website and delegate management, sourcing guest presenters, AV equipment and crew, working with local suppliers, developing creative concepts and managing the production budget. Objectives: to create a spectacular and innovative conference to inspire 600 owners, managers and corporate guests to look at the future of the company.
Our Strategic thinking
We took inspiration from the theme of the conference, which placed emphasis on innovation and forward-thinking, to create a memorable futuristic event – that required everything from branding identity to specially selected guest presenters to exciting media and formats to display visuals.
Our Creative Execution
We created event branding which was carried across the whole spectrum of visual materials. We used a gigantic LED screen measuring 20m wide by 4m high for presentations. We helped source a Delorean for the CEO’s entrance and deployed lighting, lasers, fog machines and a Kabuki drop curtain to create a jaw dropping moment for the event. The finale of the show took place in the circular Peristilionarea and featured 360 degrees projection mapping onto the building.
The overall benefits
The conference was a huge success, guests went away feeling inspired and excited about a bright future at IHG, whilst also gaining a better understanding of the company’s future plans told in a unique and compelling way.
